National Safety Month
June is National Safety Month, an annual event dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of safety in our workplaces and communities. Established in 1996 by the National Safety Council (NSC), this month-long initiative aims to increase awareness of health and safety risks, with the ultimate goal of reducing injuries and fatalities among workers in the United States.
