Enhanced UI, Task Management, and API Advancements

We’re thrilled to introduce a host of exciting updates and improvements in Sprint 55, enhancing your user experience and streamlining various functionalities across our platform.

User Interface (UI) Enhancements:

  • Autofill Magic: Save time with a new task creation feature that autofills key fields like Procedure, Team, and Date.
  • Rich Text Tables: Now, you can include tables in the rich text editor, facilitating better user analytics and providing project event logs for user activity.

Task Management Refinements:

  • Improved Task Descriptions: Task descriptions get an upgrade, including the addition of recurrence time in descriptions.
  • Task Status Boost: Enjoy enhanced task status updates with features like completed removal and automatic assignment to the current user.

Event Handling Improvements:

  • Event Reopening: For completed events, the “Complete Event” button has been cleverly renamed to “Reopen.” Clicking it seamlessly reopens the event for further actions.

Plan and Mapping Overhauls:

  • Layer Details Management: Effortlessly add, edit, or remove layer details with our redesigned right panel.
  • Mobile-Friendly Design: Left panels, selected layer profiles, and plan information now elegantly move to the right side, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Geoman Integration: We’ve integrated Geoman for drawing markers, and our plan includes plotting layers with geo-coordinates.

API and Integration Advances:

  • Task Automation: Create tasks in events based on primary rule frequency, ensuring streamlined task management.
  • Compatibility Assurance: Enjoy backward compatibility support for lists and the creation of map features.
  • Streamlined Data Ingestion: Our Data Ingestion services have been optimized to process dynamic filters combinations efficiently.

Security and Performance:

  • Vulnerability Handling: We’ve analyzed and addressed security vulnerabilities, including integer overflow concerns.
  • WAF Protection: Unused headless APIs are now blocked via our Web Application Firewall (WAF).
  • Data Reindexing Optimization: Form data reindexing has been fine-tuned for optimal performance.

CMS and Workspace Improvements:

  • Work Order Enhancement: An “other_attributes” field has been added to work orders, enhancing API functionality.
  • RDS Utilization Analysis: We’ve delved into and addressed CPU utilization concerns in RDS.
  • Workspace Cloning Evolution: Workspace cloning now supports plan tiles data cloning, incorporating discipline and project key changes.
